Ever want to break a TV commercial?

In this MOUSE Squad Unplugged Workshop you’ll:

  • Learn how commercial producers use video images, sound and words to craft persuasive messages
  • Use digital editing software to break those messages apart
  • Remix them, using digital cameras to import your own images, sounds and words to send an entirely new message.

REGISTER NOW: /remix_workshop

Facilitated by our friends at The LAMP (Learning About Multimedia Project), workshop participants will have the opportunity to explore the logic and techniques of persuasion employed in television commercial advertising by “talking back” using many of those same persuasion techniques. Students will also learn how to use a video camera to create their own visuals and how to use video editing software in creating their reaction to a commercial ad.
